Quickly troubleshooting a screw sludge dehydrator
There are usually some failures during the commissioning and operation of the screw press sludge dehydrator. It is necessary to clarify the reasons to make timely adjustments, improve the performance.
Failure A: Sludge Clogging.
Solution: If it is slightly clogged, try to reverse the screw shaft. If blocked seriously, screw cylinder need to be disassembly to clean and maintenance.
Failure B: Screw cyclinder doesn’t working.
Solution 1: Check whether it is clogged or not.
Solution 2: Check the motors whether it is normal operation or not.
Failure C: Mud Leakage.
Solution 1: Check the flocculation effect to adjust the polymer concentration.
Solution 2: Check the back plate to adjust the gap.
Solution 3: If the machine work for more than 2 years, pls contact the manufacture to replace the spare parts (rings/screw shaft).
